Many were wondering if it would be included in the new movie version (it's not.) Here's what Stephen had to say:
"Stephen King, for his part, seem to find the whole affair mildly intriguing. In a new statement to Vulture, he says, "I'd just add that it's fascinating to me that there has been so much comment about that single sex scene and so little about the multiple child murders. That must mean something, but I'm not sure what."
Here's what Stephen has said about it in the past....
".....The sexual act connected childhood and adulthood. It's another version of the glass tunnel that connects the children's library and the adult library. Times have changed since I wrote that scene and there is now more sensitivity to those issues.
The bigger question is: WHY INCLUDE IT AT ALL IN THE BOOK VERSION!

In fairness, the movie handles the ending well. It's a metaphor for Pizzagate 100% and I'm sure the filmmakers had this in mind as they were making the film. For instance, the very first scene exposes how the Talmud commands genital mutilation.
It's also a really good movie, that forces people to understand that's Stephen King is a fucking pedophile.

That is why I stopped reading his books, I had a feeling about him being weird and that there was something I did not know about him, and that it was something I would not like. He started giving me the creeps when I watched an interview and he still does.

I had a friend's mother that went to school with him. She said he was indeed creepy. Lol but I didn't need this info to avoid a movie about clowns. Almost no child of the 80s has any love for clowns thanks to this movie!

I am not afraid of clowns that come before that era. I don't know why they started making them over, the look I mean. Something sinister about that. Someone should look into that. Years ago They looked like friendly hobos. Somewhere along the way the look changed. Spooky.

A clown can symbolize evil forces

I agree. But not always. The really freaky ones. But others with sad eyes that look like hobos never scared me.
