we all wanted to believe that story was debunked back then. It was , at that time, something nobody wanted to believe.... Actors take jobs for lots of reasons.... that movie was made during a lull in Wood's career. Probably did it for the money. ( Who knows....) Around the same time I remember a sensationalized story about two brothers, rch Beverly Hills kids, Lyle and Erik Menendez, who killed their parents, saying it was because their very high level record executive father had violently raped them for years.... Theyre both currently serving life.... I believed them back then though.... and I believe the McMartin case too.
