The general public doesn't know who this woman is, hasn't read her story in the mainstream media, thinks of the occult as so much hocus pocus, and believes pizzagate is a conspiracy theory made up by some nuts. The public doesn't equate, "The widow of the editor of the Washington Post who was big in politics years ago says she killed people using hexes," with "Satanic pedophiles run our government and more, and they rape, torture and kill people as part of their religion as they work to enslave the population." They would just think this woman was a bit of a nut, and there are plenty of those in this world. The public would need to learn much more before getting alarmed and taking action.
