Amen. That is why she lost. I read a book a few years ago by Gary Zukov and he said that in order for your intentions to reach the intended party group prayer IS best. You are correct. I think maybe my husband and I will pray out loud together. I wonder if it would work if we all set a certain time up and a certain prayer and said it at the same time.....if it would work? Hmm.
I honestly had thought about this, and I am not religious at all. I believe in a higher power and that's about it. But anyone who has read some of the studies based on empirical data can't deny the power of group "meditation" either. Granted, the bulk of the studies focus on the benefit of positive prayer. Someone who is willing to endure the ridicule of being an OP should coordinate something for this Saturday around noon.
"To the higher power which maintains the balance of the good in the universe, please bestow your rightful vengeance upon those who commit the most evil of deeds and deliver retribution upon them in a swift and just manner deserving of their transgressions".
Or you could just burn a pantsuit and put it out with the power of a 12 pack of PBR behind it. Either works for me.
I used to be a practicing Catholic but have not been to church for about 20 yrs at least. I also believe in a higher power. I think we could do both of those suggestions. The prayer would be powerful. And heck, burning the pantsuit would just be good clean fun. And very cathartic.
