How they can they be false if you're not investigating them?
The allegations can be false in and of themselves. The cops don't have to investigate claims the earth is flat.
If I call up the DC police and say I want you to arrest NASA for fraud because the earth is flat, they don't have to do very much to know this is a false allegation. The investigation can be done by the time they say "Thanks for calling" and hang up the phone. Some crazy person calling you up doesn't merit anything more than that.
I asked many, many time on here if anyone could put together a coherent statement of probable cause that could start a police investigation and no one has come up with anything.
So what should the cops investigate and on what basis? What would justify the cops shifting resources from actual crimes?

CPP's social media makes references to paedophilia. Files containing child pornography were hacked from CPP's website. Following this a shot was allegedly fired into CPP's computer.

Symbols and comments on social media by multiple different shops and no specific crimes. That's it right? Do you feel cops should investigate every spiral or triangle? Because that's unreasonable. I'm not finding this argument holds together too well.
