The Obama holdovers within the FBI do not want anyone/public to see what is in those Emails, I get it. What I don't get is the explanation, no release because of "lack of public interest". Are they fucking with people who are awake, or are they so insane and out of touch they thought that any explanation would be sufficient. Very strange.

I think the corruption is too deep and complete, so it won't be actually investigated but only paid lip service and allowed to die off. Gowdy seems to me to be controlled opposition. He's said some good things, but nothing has gone beyond that. No one has been held to account. There is no one in all of government who wants to investigate Clinton. That corruption might be touching all of them in one way or another.
Perhaps Trump thinks his best chance of being re-elected is to run against Hillary again and drop incriminating evidence against her just before the next election.
