Good comments @kestrel9!

I wonder how many airports the Clintons have close ties to?

You mentioned Senator Menendez and Dr. Melgen spent time together at Casa de Campo the wealthiest resort in the Dominican Republic which has its own airport, and is not patrolled by police (although there are good, and bad points, to the resort complex not being connected to police there who can be corrupt, but still.)

I'm not accusing these DR airport owners or anyone of child trafficking, but thought I'd mention:

Bill and Hillary have connections to that private airport at Casa de Campo, called La Romana Airport.

Another one they're connected to in the DR is Punta Cana International Airport. (-- And who knows how many others on Hispaniola, and throughout the world?)

La Romana Airport

La Romana Airport, and Casa de Campo, are owned by the Fanjul sugar family's corporation. Alfonso "Alfy" Fanjul was Bill Clinton's 1992 presidential campaign co-chair. Source

Alfonso is also President, Chairman, and CEO of the company that owns the airport. The Fanjul's U.S. and DR conglomerate has vast holdings including Domino Sugar, Florida Crystals, C&H Sugar, Redpath Sugar, and Tate & Lyle Sugars.

Punta Cana International Airport

A late designer to the "elites," Oscar de la Renta, is mentioned as having lived at Casa de Campo. Later in the 1990's he was one of the developers/owners of Punta Cana, an hour away.

The Clintons have often stayed at Punta Cana (including in the de la Renta villa with the Kissingers,) and have close ties to the owners who also own the adjacent Punta Cana International Airport. Security is private.

Owners of the huge corporation Grupo Puntacana include Julio Iglesias (on the right), and Frank Rainieri.

The airport's private security is mentioned here (Full document) (PDF source). The airport moves four million passengers per year.

The Clintons are longtime friends of Julio Iglesias and have stayed at his homes in Indian Creek in Miami, and Punta Cana: http://archive.is/Y3dYC

Another owner Frank Rainieri is a pilot who formerly owned a DR crop dusting company. He donated to the Clinton Foundation after most shied away: http://archive.is/XSKqr

Late owners of the airport included Oscar de la Renta, and labor mediator Theodore Kheel. The latter's ownership is currently represented by his son Robert Kheel (center) and son-in-law, Arnold Jacobs.
