Now biblical scholars will say there are many many messages in these passages explaining the meaning for the present day. Able was the first begotten son of Adam who was God's first creation, Cain was conceived after Mary was tempted by the serpent (devil) in the garden and she became pregnant with Vain.

Cain was sent to the land of Cannon which would by come know for devil worship, hedonistic practices, and cannibalism including child sacrifice and drinking their blood.
