Things are so fucked up that whatever happens everyone would be wise to be cautious. I can see them faking an Alien Contact. But I also think they have been hiding the truth behind UFO's and Aliens for freaking almost a hundred years now.

I do think they have always been planning to release news of Aliens when the shit hits the fan. Crazy shit is they might already be in contact but have refused to publicly admit it because they have a theory that it would upset their power structure. It would make people look to different answers. I think they would only go this route this soon if they were truly desperate that their very lives were on the line now.

Lets hope they are.
