Many years ago I was in a relationship with an Ashkenazi Jew by heritage. She was also a secular Jew and her parents didn't raise her with any religious training. (As an aside, she was a narcissistic bitch, to put it politely.) I think she was definitely a vampire in terms of how she sucked energy from me and she made great efforts to destroy my psyche. As a narcissist she had no ability to empathise or experience compassion except on occasion in an intellectual capacity.

Now you've got me wondering by what percentage of DNA must a person have Ashkenazi strains to go even beyond what she was like as a person, to the actual blood drinking level. Or is it a combination of DNA and cultural/environmental influences?
