I've had a pretty low opinion of minecraft and it's infection of other games, for the past few years - which otherwise stopped me from ever caring enough to look into who made it and their world views, etc... I admittedly just assumed he was another prick who's all too happy to make money off of a product that fucks with people and turns them into disrespectful trolls.
EDIT: Hell, in the last few years I've been of the opinion that minecraft could very well be facilitating the solicitation of minors.
Now all of a sudden I'm faced with a bit of cognitive bias...
So uh, can anyone help fill in the blanks as to why I should let go of my previous reservations re: minecraft and it's creator(s)?

thanks for the replies guys, it's painfully obvious that my opinion on this is based on ignorance, so any perspective from others is helpful :)
