Been hearing this on multiple fronts. This story checks out.

This is not the first time police were ordered by a mayor to stand down while Antifa acted up. The Berkely incident comes to mind.

How does it "check out?" He doesn't provide the name of the police officer and we're just asked to take him at his word. There's a pattern to this type of reporting by Baxter Dmitry at Yournewswire. He basically tells certain political groups what they want to hear using "anonymous sources." Sure, the Washington Post does the same but I don't trust them either.
