It's definitely something to keep an eye on. The tides change rapidly with Voat, and I don't know if it's me, but there seems to be a lot more aggressive and polarizing content the last few days.. I recently made a post about Jacob Rothschild, and someone commented almost immediately about us needing a 'final solution'
Is it a strategy to make Voat look like the ultimate nazi forum or something?
Yes, we've entered the phase where the trolls will try to shut us down by a number of techniques: extremist posts and comments; forum sliding with nonsense to tire the legitimate posters and make them leave; aggression towards other voaters creating an inhospitable climate. I've also seen blogs and news article beginning to refer to the pizzagate forum here as far right.
But it has attracted a lot of attention from the right-wing media here and abroad, including publications such as the Drudge Report; TruNews, a Christian news site; Political VelCraft, a right-wing conspiracy site, and Voat.com, a website that promotes conspiracy theories such as PizzaGate.
