How many people have read the original memo? Coming from a non-Silicon-Valley community, this seems well written adequately researched. Even if the viewpoint is wrong (I believe it is not), James Damore the author proposed ways to remedy gender/racial inequalities in the workplace assuming his viewpoint is correct. I mean doing anything based on race or gender is bigoted right? So trying to enforce quotas of racial/gender diverse hires is inherently bigoted. Couldn't their hiring and promotion boards use blind evaluations or anonymizing systems to promote employees. This would be a step toward the meritocracy that they say they want.
And another thing... How is this pizzagate related?
Thanks! I am ready to learn. I use bing and sometimes duck duck go. I never say google it, like almost everyone does. I say bing it or duck it (this gets me strange looks). I think a lot of people have to do this to make it work, so voaters lets get this going. I bet most of you are already doing this, Right? I am waiting for more comments to learn more about this because as many of you know I am not the sharpest knife in the drawer when it comes to this subject.
I just say "search it" like we did before the google took everything over. I never did get into using google as a verb. I kind of like duck it though. lol
Yes, I have been using bing and duck but someone told me about ixquick.com and so I am using that right now too. Yeah, I don't think it is ever a good idea to start using a business as a verb.
Ixquick and Startpage are the same site. I used to use them all the time, but then I heard that they use google as the search engine and they just remove or block the trackers. The trackers aren't the only issue, I don't want the google deciding what results to serve up. I'm using the Duck one now and it seems pretty good. Here's a good article about alternatives. https://searchenginewatch.com/2016/02/25/say-goodbye-to-google-14-alternative-search-engines/
There seems to be a concerted effort to move us to use DuckDuckGo and it doesnt feel like an organic movement at all. Now this doesnt really matter if you are just causally searching for things but as an investigative tool google search is the most powerful. Something feels off about this...it feels like when they all wanted us to move to image hosting site "slimg"...and then they shut it down without warning...
Lol duck it. I like that. What is it that you're wanting to know? What most people use? I've heard DuckDuckGo and Startpage is good. I have a lot of search engines I use depending on what I'm searching for. But, for general search engines, those are good.
But, check this website out. It searches independent news sites! Plus, I it has a lot of alternative news sites booked marked for you on the front page. I love it!

Boycotts don't work. Start demanding these Silicon Valley firms are regulated monopolies. Break them up and their discrimination powers.

They need to read the Unabomber's Manifesto especially the part relating to the Technocracy and the liberal mindset tbqh

Adblock hurts them and you can upload large encrypted files to your google drive

Why can't I find this manifesto to read for myself? Every article seems to tell me what it's about without actually linking the manifesto.

Ixquick is supposed to be very private... no tracking, no targeted ads, no "filter bubbles". For anyone who's interested: https://www.ixquick.com

It is sad that most people beLIEve DuckDuckGo has our best interest in mind.
Just follow their funding money and its ties to globalism. All roads lead to the same people involved in pIzzagate...

Ding. Ding. Ding and ding.
DuckDuckGo is a honey pot. A trap.
It reminds me of Apple's creed about keeping our privacy safe. Yet Apple was recently caught selling our personal data in China:
https://nakedsecurity.sophos.com/2017/06/13/distributor-caught-selling-apple-customers-data/
Even worse, the king of creep - Eric Schmidt, CEO of FUCKING Google... Apple's "bitter rival" was once on Apple's board of directors:
https://www.cnet.com/news/i-resigned-from-apple-board-for-the-right-reasons-says-googles-eric-schmidt/
We've been had, folks.
The people who rule over us from behind the scenes are cunning.
They use their think tanks night and day and play war games on us waking up.
They have it all figured out. They are super organized. They plan things out decades, even hundreds of years in advance.
But, there is one thing that must frighten them - people roaming out of their Plato's Cave.
I stepped out of their cave a long long time ago... and it is great to see others here doing the same.

Been using Duck Duck Go for a while now. No complaints whatsoever

I know. I feel safer. People really need to realize that they can make a difference. This is how we beat them. I don't do twitter nor facebook either.
