@Judgejewdy: This is a great post, and I see MF left it up as a PSA. However, I do have to take it down due to the lack of links. Would you consider taking the time to rewrite it as a research post with links to examples? It should be quite easy to find them if you use Searchvoat.co and look up key words. I totally agree with your analysis. The theme of the week reminds me of editorial meetings at a newspaper I worked at when I was young...I can just see these operatives sitting around with their Starbucks cups brainstorming what their shitposts are going to be over the next two weeks. It would be interesting to see them on a timeline, which accounts got involved, how each theme was pushed and elaborated on, and what they switched to when it got little traction. Would LOVE to see that alongside a timeline of real life news and DDoS attacks against Voat and /pol/ as well as rashes of Twitter bans to see if there is a relationship.
