FML. Thanks for the correction. I'm putting a correction in my video. I still think it's a great lead, and it takes back the cloak a little more of how people in positions of power got there around this time.
Actually, I want to thank you for posting because I did a little research and saw that Yzaguirre was appointed in 2010 and then got curious about him. Something quite interesting turned up, but not really to do with your post. See my reply to Vindicator's comment.

Btw /u/Factfinder2, here is a list of the Ambassadors: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States_Ambassador_to_the_Dominican_Republic - Raúl H. Yzaguirre landed the job in November of 2010, and Christopher Lambert was the interim Ambassador. There's no guarantee one of those are the name, though.
