How many fake news stories are they going to make abut the murder of Seth Rich. They are in a panic. But, why would Rod Wheeler do this? We seen exactly what Wheeler said, from his own mouth on video!

A new bombshell lawsuit filed Tuesday alleges the Trump administration encouraged Fox News to create a fake news story concerning the death of Seth Rich, the former Democratic National Convention staffer who was murdered in July 2016, in order to divert attention away from the Russia scandal. The now-retracted story, written by reporter Malia Zimmerman, had suggested Rich was in communication with Wikileaks, implying that he—not Russian hackers—was the source of DNC emails published by the site.
NPR reports the lawsuit was brought by Rod Wheeler, a former Washington DC detective and longtime paid Fox commentator, who was hired by Republican donor Ed Butowsky to investigate Rich’s murder. According to Wheeler, the network defamed him by knowingly fabricating quotes and attributing them to him in its story, which was titled “Seth Rich, slain DNC staffer, had contact with WikiLeaks, say multiple sources.”

If Pizzagate is fake news, then why did Awan's attorney, Chris Gowen, blame his client's problems on the "alt-right 'pizzagate' media"?
It makes absolutely no sense whatsoever to use the term "pizzagate" in defense of very serious charges against Awan. Remember, this guy was Bill Clinton's attorney - he isn't a shyster.
It only makes sense through the same lens as the MSM/DS tactic to accuse everyone of what you are guilty of - Russia collaboration; pissing hookers; etc.
The Wheeler angle is the exact same tactic. Accuse and attack.

I think because Awan had access to so much that when he brought up Pizzagate, it was saying to the others - I will talk so you better help me

Very possible. Like a call to arms.
Not OP-worthy, but interestingly, there was a very bizarre double murder - possible drug related, but not definitive - blocks away from Awan's last owned residence the night he was arrested. Bizarre as two young black men were found dead in an Acura, engine running, in a quiet residential neighborhood. Rumor is both were shot in chest. Rumor is also that they were very gay. It makes no sense and is too coincidental.
Google "lorton double murder". Shooting was about a mile from the residence Awan owned, where Marine found the smashed hard drives.
