I have heard that Trump was trolling - maybe as a distraction? - using a fake anger at Sessions. I hope you are right athough I don't like Sessions stance on police confiscation of property.
One of the things I've noticed Trump is really good at is weakening his enemy by doing something that looks like a fuckup but totally throws them into a tizzy. While they are losing their minds, thrown into such an emotional, outraged state that their higher powers of reason and deduction are toast, he then makes his move. He did it hundreds of times during the election, and he is doing it now to the MSM and the left.
