There are spirals on traditional mexican home objects going back thousands of years. From a design standpoint, this seem obvious and unoriginal rather than subversive (it is also ugly). But this is an excellent opportunity for you to contact Chipolte and explain to them the apparent meaning of their logo and ask if they would consider doing something about it... or if it's intentionally a pedo triangle spiral and important to them :)

The symbols of Mexican culture descend from the MAYA, who were the original North American human sacrifice civilization.

You don't think it's just kitschy, do you ?

That's an interesting way of putting it. Except, the Mayans did not have exclusivity on human sacrifices, this was common practice across the world. It's just a part of their heritage that is amplified over other aspects of their civilization. Not differentiating enough.

look Eva... the symbols you are suggesting that are innocuous and everyday, have a history. I just pointed out their history.

Why are you so limited in your thinking here ?
