this is more common than people think. years ago when omegle was new, I used to troll people by claiming to be different people (one time I even said I was Pablo escobar lol)
so many times I couldn't find normal people, so id say I was a girl. and id later say I lied about my age and was actually way young and 99% of them kept going. really I'm an older male, but I just wanted to troll/scare people I felt deserved it. so I lied to see if they would go for it.
I usually told them I was a cop, or drew a penis on a piece of paper and showed it on cam when they asked to skype and refused to show video lol
but its scary how common this behavior is. I bet you could still do the same thing and catch a pedo 9/10 times like this. or maybe more realistically 6/10, but anything over like 1/100 is scary high.
obviously something more sinister must be socially responsible for this. there must be some kind of supposed benefit for so many people to be interested. its probably linked to power because people seek power to cover their own injustices. Maybe people are promised economic and social benefits for such behavior secretly, and fucked up crazy people among the lower class mimic the behavior because they are products of the abuse even if they truly don't understand it?
