Yes he was originally a beautiful angel that wanted worship for himself . Kinda like the stars in Hollywood . So he was cast out of heaven and has been roaming about the earth since 1914 . And he will be destroyed along with all those who worship him , at the war of Armageddon .
The Yazidi consider Tawûsê Melek an emanation of God and a good, benevolent angel who has redeemed himself from his fall and has become a demiurge who created the cosmos from the Cosmic egg. After he repented, he wept for 7,000 years, his tears filling seven jars, which then quenched the fires of hell. Yazidis believe Tawûsê Melek is not a source of evil or wickedness. They consider him to be the leader of the archangels, not a still-fallen nor a still-disgraced angel, but a forgiven one and an emanation of God himself. They also hold that the source of evil is in the heart and spirit of humans themselves, not in Tawûsê Melek.

If you think animals have souls , you should re-read genesis . And then re-read it again.

Keep telling yourself that , and Satan " the father of the lie" will have succeeded in capturing your heart ! He never repented , that's absurd .

The name lucifer appears only in the Latin Vulgate Text, otherwise it's phosphorous or helel in Hebrew.
The Satan you are alluding to, appears in the book of job. He is a servant of God sent to test Job. Do you concur with this statement?
