Edit: I have asked the mods to flag this post as unverified. I took this decision largely as this was a speculative piece from the outset but primarily because one of the attached images (1st) makes claims that have not been backed up. I do still believe that there is lots to examine in the lives and deaths of Chester Bennington & Chris Cornell and many unanswered questions in this post.

I also felt to edit or delete this post with nearly 200 comments would be a betrayal of the valuable conversation that took place.

So, I'm a bit confused. What's the assumption, who suicided him, and why?

Edit: I'm aware that the submission is merely raising some questions with interesting and potentially relevant details – kudos for that. I'm just interested in a consensus, if any, as to anyone's motivations regarding this event.

All we can do at this point is speculate and look for connections to the people we normally speculate about here. Read through the comments and you'll find quite a few.

I see. I went through the comments, which is why I then asked this question as I saw no clear pattern of consensus in those comments. Maybe it was too early to ask, could easily be the case.

Yes, a bit early for a consensus. Coincidentally, I have been responding to a Chris Cornell thread in the last few days, looking at his foundation and management. When Bennington's death was first announced, I wondered if there was a connection with pizzagate. Then the 4Chan thread pops up and when we go digging we find the same names popping up again and again.
