I think he meant credit cards tbh. I think places like comet ping pong charge a large amount over several payments as a way to exchange large amounts without raising any suspicion. No one would suspect anything out of the ordinary if you have daily food charges. Wont even make you show a reciept most of the time when expenses are scrutinized.
Not sure if you have looked into this much, but there are also gift cards, ebt cards, and prepaid cards. But given the guy probably knew what resources we had on hand for leaks, I'm betting credit cards as well.
