This is the latest in a recent series of posts from Neon Nettle. It had 40 up-votes before anyone down-voted it, or noticed that the central claim of the story had NO SOURCE.
The amount of times I've seen people post stories from this ALWAYS UN-SOURCED trash heap of a "news site" has me concerned that many of us might believe everything they've read from it.
I'm making this post as a public announcement, with hopes that next time someone will say something before a Neon Nettle post gets up-voted 40 times. Because this is starting to annoy the shit out of me.
Edit:
Another example:
https://voat.co/v/pizzagate/1967740 (this story cites Neon Nettle, who in turn cites NOTHING. It too was getting up-voted for a while before anyone caught it)

I posted that article and have posted others from Neon Nettle that I think are relevant to our investigation here. I am far from young and far from naive. I have also posted tweets from VictoryOfTheLight as again they seemed valid and relevant. I would think this forum is about a freedom of ideas and sharing information rather than pushing any "narrative"..but whatever...I am no advocate of Neon Nettle, but you are wrong about sourcing as that last article was sourced...
"Kremlin spokesman and Russian foreign minister, Sergey Lavrov, highlighted some of the "deliverables" for the meeting to a Moscow audience: "I proceed from the premise that Mr. Putin and Mr. Trump understand their national interests,""They want to overcome the current abnormality and start negotiating specific issues that affect bilateral relations, including business interests and the resolution of international problems.""The foundation of support for pedophilia within US politics is a global issue that must be eradicated.""This level of unethical corruption must be stopped, and we have the means expose it if the US Government is unwilling."
Sourced better than a WAPO or NYT article...
As a mod are you now the regulator of what journalistic integrity is? I'm just doing what I have always done and very PROUD of my history on this forum and what we have been able to accomplish together...just saw that Google was referencing a /pol/ article this am..so who is to say what sources are providing "real" or "fake" news..ya?
HolyMoly0 ago
There is no source for any of the quotes about "exposing elite pedophiles," which is the CENTRAL CLAIM of the article, and of your post.
Dfens ago
There is no SOURCE posted for any of this bullshit about Neon Nettle.
HolyMoly0 ago
Their own articles are the sources.
Dfens ago
Wow. So their articles are your source. Could you be anymore of a hypocrite?
HolyMoly0 ago
I claimed that an article provided no source. Then I provided a link to said article, wherein you can literally see for yourself that they provide no source. I'm not sure how that can possibly be misleading.
Dfens ago
When I read "that article", I'm assuming it to be a recently linked article, I see the names Sergey Lavrov, Maxim Suchkov, Heather Conley, and a host links in "that article". Articles which have no sources do not name names and quote the individuals, nor do they contain links. To say that article has "no sources" is clear bullshit.
HolyMoly0 ago
I said the central claim is un-sourced. The central claim concerns the quotes about "exposing elite pedophiles." The article never cites anything for those quotes.
Dfens ago
The fuck you did. You said, "I claimed that an article provided no source." You are too ignorant to know what a fucking source is.
HolyMoly0 ago
Hey dipshit, if you take two seconds to pull your nose out of your asshole, you'll see that the "claim" I made, which I was referencing in that comment, regarded the "central claim" of the article.
Dfens ago
You're going to continue to lie when your words are right there? Good luck with that.
HolyMoly0 ago
Yes. My words are right there, and you can read them for yourself, in the first comment you replied to. That's the claim I was referencing.
Congratulations. You are literally the stupidest person I've come across here.
Dfens ago
Yeah, when you figure out what a source is, maybe you could grace us all with one regarding your slander of Neon Nettle. Maybe there's an online course you could take. Retard.
HolyMoly0 ago
When you figure out where Neon Nettle provides a source for those quotes about elite pedophilia, maybe you can come back here and tell me about it like a grown up.
Dfens ago
Sergey Lavrov, Maxim Suchkov, Heather Conley. What the absolute fuck.
HolyMoly0 ago
Those are names. Source means verification. As in, where did these quotes come from? What information can I provide that corroborates the real life existence of these quotes? Pulling names out of your ass does not back up anything you say about what those names said. Does that make sense?
Dfens ago
You are clearly retarded. So if I provide the quote, "Four score and seven years ago our fathers brought forth, upon this continent, a new nation, conceived in liberty, and dedicated to the proposition that all men are created equal." and tell you Abraham Lincoln said that, Abe is not the source. You're a one man idiot routine. Too bad the circus isn't in town.
HolyMoly0 ago
Correct. If that were a news story, and you were the person writing it, Abe would not be your source. The source would be the people at Gettysburg, all of whom saw the speech (while you did not), and everyone they talked to, and most significantly the numerous other publications that reported on it, and subsequent historians who all said the speech happened, and the document itself, written in Abe's handwriting.
Edit: that's if you provide those sources, of course.
Dfens ago
Holy fuck, first of all, Abe Lincoln is the source of that quote. Second, if you want to say that my quote is wrong then you had better have a source upon which to base your claim and not just pull that statement straight out of your ass.
HolyMoly0 ago
If I wrote an article claiming that Samuel L. Jackson said you tried to rape his daughter, would you conclude that he in fact said it?
