"Where are the investigative reporters? If these stories are false, they need to be exposed as false. If they are true, then Americans are “the exceptional, indispensable people” in a very unflattering way. " THIS is what I have been wondering. Where are they all? We are the researchers and the investigators for now. Thank God for the Internet.
First, we are NOT INVESTIGATORS. Please stop using that term. It is INCORRECT USAGE and a SLAP IN THE FACE to EVERY REAL INVESTIGATOR ON THE PLANET.
We are armchair researchers. Googling in your armchair in your living room is NOT "investigating."
Investigative journalists have been culled from major newspapers over the past 13 or so years. My friend and associate has TWO EMMY AWARDS for his investigative journalistic work and now is a columnist. They have to go freelance, which is really sticking your neck out and sans the advantages of working under a newspaper's banner.
OH, and I am CERTAIN that Paul Craig Roberts KNOWS that. I will give him a pass on the presumption that he posed a rhetorical question.

Indeed it is. Thanks for pointing that out.
PCR has editorial oversight, however. And I agree with you that the Pitt account is BS. Just look at his (now ex-) wife :)
