Very suspicious.
Summer is the busiest time of the year for restaurants and a complete interior/exterior remodel shouldn't take more than 3-4 weeks.
You can build a small free standing building from the ground up in 3 months, so a 3 month remodel is overkill in the restaurant business.
Not to mention, restaurant patrons are creatures of habit so generally restaurant owners try to minimize down time in a remodel to just a week or two.
What are all of the part time employees that live check to check going to do for 3 months.
