The most disturbing thing about this video is that the people in it are household names here in UK you would NEVER associate them with this disgusting/revolting programme!! I am in shock, especially at the first one Gary Lineker! he is a famous footballer AND supposed to be a christian. My whole value system is in shock, these celebrities are on everyday wholesome programmes. I am glad I knew nothing about it when it aired in 2001, definitely NOT FUNNY in my opinion.
Trisha, the celebrities who appeared on this TV programme were unaware it was satire. Like an earlier Voat poster above tried to explain (which you obviously just ignored), it was a comedy programme designed to expose just how foolish these "household names" are - and that they don't have a clue what they're involved in half the time. And certainly that they should not be trusted as authority figures when they themselves are so naive and easily led.
It was quite a clever TV series that admittedly skated a bit too close to the edge at times. I agree that from a 2017 perspective it's not funny anymore.
I did not ignore, the celebrities who appeared in this TV programme, no matter how naive you are, said things that should not be coming out of their mouths, ESPECIALLY as you say they did not have a clue what they were involved in. I would never say some of the things they said, as a Christian without any explanation of where my video will end up.
