How convenient it is for Sheriff Tripp to no longer have to pursue any further investigation that might have been embarrassing to the Sheriff and perhaps other "upstanding" townsfolk.

So, if I wanted to "start over," all I would need to do is make friends with local law enforcement and coroner (or pay them), die from a health problem, get a death certificate issued, be "cremated" and boom. Instant start all over card.
