So I just showed it to my gal, who didn't hear what you just said. I asked her, "What's this look like to you?"
"A siren?"
"You see anything else?"
"No?"
"Unfocus your eyes. You see anything now?"
"No."
I point out features -- "Body? Eyeballs?"
"I guess? What's it supposed to be?"
"You don't see the owl?"
"I guess, yeah, but I didn't see it until you told me. I have to know the pattern before the pareidolia kicks in."

though, the more i know, the less i question myself as to whether it is intended or not. it is intended.
