I think nothing is too mean and cruel. If we can torture people our government just pull off the street and stick in Guantanamo then we can do whatever to child rapists.
They couldn't levy charges against almost the entirety of people there and the torture (which goes beyond waterboarding), one guy's genitals were shredded so badly, yet he was released and with no recourse of suing his captors.
The people Obama let go had to leave, but those that are left, the supposed "forever-prisoners...or until hostilities cease prisoners as the lawyers called them....I would like to know what hostilities they're speaking of, officially, hostilities with Afghanistan are over, the leftover 5k troops are only there to protect Kabul and the 30% or so that Afghanistan isn't controlled by the Taliban.
