In the wake of this shooting, many politicians and D.C. residents took the high road by calling for unity. Even the raving left-wing fanatic Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) called for peace, and wished for the safety of the Trump family.
More mainstream voices (like CNN and MSNBC) are doing everything in their power to try and underplay the gunman’s political motivations.
