The founding fathers disliked the idea of term limits because during their last term congressmen will have no accountability.
For example, if they are limited to 2 terms, the second term will be accountable to no one. And on average that would be 50% of congressmen at any given time by this two-term limit. Limitless terms at least theoretically keeps congressmen accountable to their electorate.
Yeah, but if they were term limited, they would enter Congress in the first place for different reasons than they do now, so it's an idea that is WAY overdue. Nancy Pelosi probably doesn't even know where her district even is at this point.
If you implement term limits you should implement something else to balance it like the ability to recall any congressman from any district at any time, if there is enough people to initiate the recall vote.
dont forget the judges. They give themselves immunity no matter now corruptly their decisions are. And they all protect eachother so the people have no recourse. frankly I don't know why more of these corrupt assholes aren't taken out more often. This Scalise-shooter guy will start a trend of people fucking fed up and nothing left to lose. Politicians, judges, bankers, insurance execs, maybe they can get away with being corrupt in their offices, but they are foolish if they think people are not sick to death or mentally unstable because of it.
Maybe this guy is "deep state" and was targeting the good guys going after human trafficking, but unless they come clean and admit this, it sets a very dangerous precedent.
Judges are corrupt as hell, esp federal, and arrogant and proud, they are set for life, they don't have to live like the peons, the one I went before seethed w/ pride and boasted he could "well afford a vacation." Nice robe though.
guys in dresses, like priests, no need to say more. They think they are better than us but we are the ones working and creating value and paying their fucking salaries. Imagine if the citizenry went on a massive strike and EVERYONE quit their stupid jobs on the same day. Wouldn't that be something.
