How is it that the hospital is giving a report to the news media and hence the public at large but didn't issue any reports on Seth Rich? Is there a time line on how quickly after entering the hospital was the first report issued. When questioned about the refusal to give out info on Seth Rich, the hospital cited patient confidentiality. Can we really believe that Congressman Scalise gave permission to report medical details to the public?
I didn't mean to suggest that there should have been a public, unsolicited announcement on Seth Rich. I only meant that when specifically asked, why a refusal to reply. I am smart enough to know the difference between Seth Rich and Congressman Scalise. But you don't violate HIPAA laws based on status.
I'm not sure this would be a violation of HIPPA and if permission was neeed couldn't that be given by his wife, given he was not able to speak for himself?

Perhaps it's because nobody heard of Seth Rich before he was shot and this is Majority Whip in House of Representatives?
Why would you think this would be comparable at all. Was it breaking news on every newscast in the country when Seth Rich was shot?
