Why did Lindy Li, a young and rising Democratic congressional candidate from suburban Philadelphia both 'like' and comment a "smiley face" on Hodginkson's Facebook profile picture 5 years after it was posted? (Oddly, the ONLY like or comment.)
*Speculation from /pol/ OP follows:
Republican Congressman Ryan Costello represents the PA-6 District, the same district Li ran for in 2016 before withdrawing as a result of a ballot challenge, and where she plans to run again in 2018
Costello was supposed to be at the practice, playing shortstop next to Majority Whip Scalise, who was shot while playing second base
Costello missed his ride to practice by 2 minutes, and otherwise would have been right there
Li's future opponent could have very well been taken out by someone she's shown appreciation for on social media
Help! the 4chan post says Lindy Li was involved as you say with Hodgkinson and put a smily face on his post 5 yrs later. Well yes, as you say Costello was 2 min. late. Here is her Twitter https://twitter.com/lindyli and on there is a pic of a letter to her from Hillary Clinton. If he was such a Bernie fan why would he be getting likes from a Hillary girl? Can you post the letter here? I cannot do it. It is a full letter from Hillary signed by Hillary. It is amazing and really ads a lot to this case, imo. It does not matter. What matters is that she sent it to Lindy and Lindy posted it like it was a big deal. Then Lindy put a smiley face on a post of the shooter, 5 years after the shooter posted it.
I agree this connection is interesting. I was just expecting something personal and revealing from the way you talked it up. The couple brief articles I had time for atm showed Li was favored by the dnc, so a form letter upon Hillary's loss probably just scratches the surface.
