I watched Trumps video statement on the assassination and there was one thing that struck me and sounded very strange: the prayers not only of the entire city

“Congressman Scalise is a friend, a very good friend,” Trump said. “He’s a patriot and fighter. Steve, I want you to know that you have the prayers not only of the entire city, but of an entire nation, and frankly, the entire world. America is praying for you and America is praying for all of the victims of this terrible shooting.”

At that point I had no clue that Salise was pushing anti-human trafficking laws, and that pizzas were sent to his office after the assassination. Now this remark by Trump makes sense. It seems there's an outright war going on behind the scenes.
