And then there is the theory that the Jews in Russia were the descendants of the Khazars. Many Jews had settled in Khazaria or Bulgaria??? which was on the silk highway. The Khazars were fierce and sharp businessmen. Brutal?? can't remember the entire story at the moment. So, although they had Jewish ancestry they had adopted the ways of the Khazars.

I just watched a Cynthia McKinney video where she tells the story how when she was running for congress, she was asked to sign a pledge of loyalty to Israel. When she didn't they eventually destroyed her district leaving her without a job. She says nowadays, they just ask politicians to make up their own statement of allegience to Israel.
