I've been wondering that too, and it's probably connected to the bloodline thing. Maybe they can be made to seizure easily, or if there's some other trigger for that something else to enter/emerge. Not sure if it's a manifestation of subconscious or something external. I mention seizures due to personal experience. That's at least one way for them to get in.
