You're confused about what democratic socialism is ... it's simply about people working together to better the lives of all.

Russia has never established socialism nor practiced it.

Same with Hitler/Nazis .... the NAZI party was a legitimate liberal organization working to support labor and labor unions, for health care, women's rights, reproductive freedom. When it was taken over by Hitler it was all overturned.

We've had a very recent history of democracy working in a US of much larger numbers ... The New Deal by FDR was but one example of it -- and it is the overturning of New Deal regulations which returned capitalism to its true evils.

Unregulated capitalism is merely organized crime.

It's a system intended to move the wealth and natural resources of nations from the many to the few.
And it has done that successfully all over the world.

Even though I live in Australia I am a big Ron Paul supporter. Libertarian - free market, local government, by the people, for the people.
