I Love Dick is based on the eponymous novel by Chris Kraus and is set in small-town Marfa, Texas. Creator and Producer Jill Soloway (Transparent) describes the show as “a feminist matriarchal revolution-inspiring comedy about love and sex.”***Isn't there some connection to Hillary visiting with some people in Marfa Tex? It was not a tea party.
Marfa, Texas an 'unlikely art oasis in the desert. " It's a blue-chip arts destination for the sort of glamorous scenesters who visit Amsterdam for the Rijksmuseum and the drugs".
Sounds like a great vacation for the rich and famous...hunting at Cibolo, then buy some artwork, and drugs. I read somewhere the go out on motorcycles at midnight - people of all ages. From 10-60
The town itself is nondescript, lots of Hispanics, small ... but it's in the middle of nowhere and vast spaces, been through there on way to Big Bend, some others here on Voat have also. I believe anyone can stay at the ranch where Scalia died, it may be costly though. I wouldn't stay there now.
The ranch is south of Marfa, just before Big Bend. The area is quite vast, distances, the eye tricks you. Actually it's closer to Big Bend Ranch State Park, more so than Big Bend, which is even more remote. People are shocked at how remote when they go there. You either have to know where you're going or get lost to find it. One road in. But it's beautiful.

Nutjobs are jacking w/ Marfa like Sedona Arizona and messing it up. Like they did w/ Austin, and other parts of the TX Hill Country.

debauchery and murder are spiking in rural areas... America is much like Mexico in that regard

That's true and that's scary. The Nat'l Forests and rural areas can be some of the scariest, esp if a forest is not far from a big town.

Yeah, and the Cibolo Ranch is where Scalia met his death. That area is as sketchy as all heck.
