Let's see what happens. Sean Hannity has pushed for having both sides of controversial issues heard, something every American should be in favor of and the press used to be a little better at. He was there allowing the Schiavos and pro-lifers to be heard in the Terri Schiavo case, and he also allowed George Zimmerman's side to be heard in the Trayvon Martin case. The MSM stacked the deck in both cases.

I'm with you, @Psalm100. I have studied our Constitution extensively and I believe we're screwed, as a nation, if free speech continues to be chilled. This is unprecedented. Stifling free speech is un-American and cannot be tolerated by our society. I dream of an Internet where videos are hosted by a site other than YouTube and I dream of TV networks that air the truth. For now, I guess I'll keep dreaming. . . .

Agreed! I grew up hearing and believing that free speech didn't get stifled except in extreme cases like shouting "fire" in a crowded theater. We'd hear about the ACLU defending the KKK's right to march. And the left always said that offensive speech should never be censored, even if it upset people, because the costs of censorship outweighed the benefits. Now they only say that to defend their own speech.

They used to be the radical counter culture. They got the power. Now the internet has bred us, the new counter culture.
