The internet is full of ridiculous conspiracy theories. Most are not methodically scrubbed whenever they are posted. That takes time, energy, money and people. Censorship happens when an idea is considered dangerous by people in a position to marshal such resources.
So I ask. Who considers the "ridiculous conspiracy theory" of pizzagate dangerous enough to dispatch an army to eradicate it? And why?
