This is possibly the best evidence of a direct threat to Rich that I've seen yet. In the context of Podesta's "make an example" leak, the recent discovery of Seth's panda4progress account, and the (still to be proven) claims from Kim Dotcom, I don't see how this could be anything other than a veiled threat.

The one thing I'm still confused about with this is...why use a Vanity Fair article to deliver a threat? Maybe because it's obscure enough to escape public attention (which it did, until now)? Maybe Seth frequented the site or subscribed to their magazine?

Holds shit that's .... fuck me! These bastards really do love to rub it in our faces.

I've heard of a bull in a china shop and panda on bamboo, but a panda on a vase? Seems like a weird analogy. Maybe they were expecting some panda-monium

AssFaceSandwich2 ago

Ah, jeeez. You'd get Pand-at a comedy club for that.

Author TA Franks needs to explain this.

mudbear ago

Wow that is chilling, that is a fucking stupidly obtuse analogy to use, in the case of seth rich however it makes perfect sense, the article wasnt directed at bernie but rather the panda (seth rich) holding the priceless vase (hillary's emails), talking about shooting a panda is just weird without context, interesting find

Nice find.

Was "panda" some kind of nickname for Bernie at some point? This is a weird reference.

ArthurEdens ago

Agreed but to them it does

kazza64 ago

these sickos use their coded language in plain sight because they feel that is very clever of them :(

jstayz44 ago

Agreed. They use their "inside jokes " in public as a cover - "I didn't mean anything specific when I said Panda," however Skippy might read this with his morning coffee and go "attaboy." If the writer isn't already accepted as an insider, he is after this! And, let's say this isn't one of "those" incidences...I think my theory could hold some water for new, young or not yet accepted journalists trying to get on the inside of this sick establishment.

Seems too good of a fit to be happenstance. Looks like they shot the panda for nothing

Blinddoge ago

Weird that he refers to a panda, and it is a shitty analogy to begin with.

But, this was written 7 months before his murder, and seems unlikely that these are messages.

As MurkyMire pointed out in this thread, Podesta's "make an example" e-mail implied just before that line that they'd wait until they had a "definite campaign."

By January, Clinton's campaign was in full force and, as the Vanity Fair article mentioned, wasn't happy that Bernie was getting in their way. They might have seen January as the perfect time to make that threat towards "Panda."

But they may have caught wind of a possible upcoming leak. Kim dotcom says he was contacted by Rich in late 2016. [I mean '14]

AssFaceSandwich2 ago

2014?

waxdino ago

Yeah. Just came back to fix that.

Kabbalah makes you put a warning out before you hurt someone. And remember, Rich was mad about Bernie getting burned by the dnc

and the " re-enactment " reeks of kabbalah too.
