Do keep in mind, 4 hours may just be a standard visit time entered into the record for a legitimate tour/event; the length of stay may not have a whole lot to do with any fuckery. Furthermore, it's not out of place for some residents in the area to go with friends/family to do the touristy stuff while they are on vacation around DC but it's incredible for anyone who has lived around the DC area for a few years to go more than once or twice in a year. Hell, I've lived within a few miles of DC for almost 30 years and I haven't gone on a white house tour since I was in elementary school.
