Something is going on behind the scenes. The prosecution had Weiner by the balls. They could have put him behind bars for ten years with all the shit he was caught red-handed doing.
Him getting to plead guilty to only one charge looks like a plea deal, even though there's been no announcement. There must have been something the feds or the NYPD want from him, including continued access to his famous laptop and agreement to cooperate with forensic analysis of the contents.
I think what's going on behind the scenes with Weiner has a mess of elite scumbags scared shitless.

Yeah, what I find odd is how they didn't back him like they did other people like Laura silsby who attempted to child traffic. Is he just a pawn?
