the blue stripe that says "uphold the right", i think it has something to do with freemasonry, in US I've seen police stickers that say something along the line "this line we will defend", and that "line" is also a blue stripe, they also wear a blue stripe on their pants

It's referred to as "the thin blue line" and it's supposed to represent the line that divides law-abiding citizens and the police from the criminal element.

In the US they are called blue lodges. I'm not saying you're wrong, I'm just saying this is what you are taught about the thin blue line at Police Academy.
