Rubio: "Has the dismissal of Mr. Comey in any way impeded, interrupted, stopped, or negatively impacted any of the work, any of the investigations or any ongoing projects at the Federal Bureau of Investigation?"

McCabe: "There has been no effort to impede our investigation to date."

So, either McCain is lying or Comey is lying, as both Comey's memo and McCabe's statement can't hold truth at the same time.

And now, MSM is actually shooting Podesta in the foot:

Just a few days ago, CAP (Central American Progress, John Podesta) produced a video with a topic "What Comey Was Investigating, Explained".

This video didn't have a word on Flynn being investigated, only a mention on who he was. Now either NYT, CNN and WaPo, or Central American Progress is living in a post-truth world, as all of them can't be right at the same time. If Flynn was investigated, CAP missed that. Considering CAP's "reputation" in providing research, well... But if CAP made their job right, covering up their topic, MSM is wrong.

However, it appears there is no need for the hearing as Mr. Comey already confirmed - under oath - that "he has not been pressured to close an investigation for political purposes. source
