Well, he was 17. That's a pretty long time to wait for his mother to come around. I just googled the death and she was killed by a cop? Really? At 17, the elite would know he was uber talented and smart. Incendiary event ... then a handler like Yoko Ono got her hooks into him.
A cop (maybe off-duty) ran over her. Sounds right. But at this point in time they were very much nobody's, so very doubtful it was anything but an accident. Paul's death in a car accident is speculated, whether an accident or not. There was a girl in the car, she was leaving home and had a suitcase, apparently he picked her up, she died too. Paul was unrecognizable, even by dental records, his parents had to help, the girl was identified by the belongings in suitcase. The song "She's Leaving Home" is about her, she was going to Sweden, running away from home.
Unfortunately. This has brought (below) Heather to the brink of suicide. You should listen to the whole interview, it's good. I tried to contact (original) Paul's daughter on facebook but she won't respond. I don't blame her ... another long story.
