Scalia’s death was suspicious is putting it mildly.

No autopsy
No medical examiner on site to decipher cause of death
No U.S. Marshal protection detail accompanying Scalia
No functioning CCTV cameras on day of death
Scalia found clothed on bed with pillow over face
Scalia’s body mysteriously cremated before it could be examined
Resort owner large Obama contributor
And the list goes on and on

Neither of these things make a death suspicious. Both are fairly common. Particularly when someone in poor health dies in their sleep and there is no sign of foul play.

No U.S. Marshal protection detail accompanying Scalia

This was fairly common for Justices. http://www.nytimes.com/2012/02/19/us/supreme-court-justices-remain-security-exceptions.html

Scalia found clothed on bed with pillow over face

I assume he was in pyjamas, but the pillow was not over his face. It was above his head....on the bed between his head and the headboard. Reporters double checked this after the initial reports, it was just a miscommunication. There were no signs of foul play.

Scalia’s body mysteriously cremated before it could be examined

Nothing mysterious about this. This was the family's wishes. There was nothing mysterious about his death. He was 79 years old. He was in poor health. He smoked, was overweight, had several heart issues, suffered from sleep apnea. He was in such poor health that his doctor recommended he not undergo shoulder surgery, because the surgery might kill him. His doctor was consulted.

The email is too stupid to be considered.

Yeah I know for a fact Supreme Court Justices have no security detail. When I worked in the automotive industry, Justice Kennedy would bring his car in himself for repairs. No body guards, interns or even a secretary. He was a regular guy. I didn't realize who he was until after he left and I had to call his office for authorization for repairs. I was kind-of shocked. He's a good guy. I may not agree with some of his rulings, but he seemed like an ordinary citizen.

That is absolutely not true..... it's possible that Jusices do not have security when they are in Washington or their hometown taking car for repairs, but if Justices travel, they absolutely have protection from the Marshall Service and local law enforcement.

SOURCES FOR YOU TOO - NY Times - http://www.nytimes.com/2012/02/19/us/supreme-court-justices-remain-security-exceptions.html

Court officials do not discuss security arrangements in detail, but according to longtime observers and Congressional budget requests, they vary depending on a justice’s location: traveling out of town for a speech, walking around Washington or working inside the heavily fortified court building. In the capital, the justices are protected mainly by the court’s own small force, said a spokeswoman, Kathy Arberg. When the justices leave Washington, the United States Marshals Service takes over, and local police departments help, too.

What happened was that Scalia either ditched his security detail or he told them specifically not to accompany him... But he absolutely had protection.

Ok, you are quoting the NY times, I know Justice Kennedy and have dealt with him for years. He doesn't have security detail. I'll take my word over that rag any day. Thanks.
