Pizzagate was a term made up by people investigating pizzagate, do you think some pizza place that was also coincidentally tied to pizzagate would have this name before this term was invented?
To me it seems more like some pizza place called themselves that and then when pizzagate came up they had to change their brand because no one wants to be named after an investigation into child sex trafficking, especially when another pizza place is involved.
Also, if google covered it up they've done an awful job. The location tagged at this address is still listed as Pizza Gate (meaning the place you can leave google reviews, pictures, etc. is still labelled as the Pizza Gate restaurant). They also still have the graffiti picture you've posted added.
Not without precedent. I remember finding it funny a couple years ago, reading about companies named "Isis" that had to change. On the other hand, they're still making "Adolph's" TV dinners, and our last president had the middle name "Hussein". They even have "9-11" convenience stores. Still, these pizza guys likely just got spooked by the false flag shooter on the news.
Also, just for fun: I know there's no way Voat isn't being monitored anyway, but it's funny how often my (and other people's) posts have so many "hot button" keywords in them. Some NSA guy is probably like "oh shit, I'm getting talk of ISIS and 9/11 and Neo-Nazis on a web page... checks site oh. Never mind".
