Island: I'm a bit confused by your statement "who also knew the McCanns"...do you mean that Freud knew them or that Podestas knew them? Didn't Freud introduce himself to the McCanns after the incident? I can't help but be intrigued by the resemblance of the girl at the Podesta card party to not only the age projected Madeleine drawing but to Mrs. McCann as well. This suggestion has been floating around the Internet for months so surely that lead has been ruled out by now.
I know that Freud invited them to his house after the incident so I assumed he knew them before as well... it seems strange that he would introduce himself afterwards and invite them to his home - an invite they accepted... But knowing that the Podestas were at his home when it happened, and they match the efits so precisely, and given the mother's reaction "They took her"... it seems the parents know more than they're letting on, as well as Freud - and especially the Podestas.... The local law enforcement suggested the culprits were untouchable, which points to Podesta as well... even up to Soros.

I think the girl really is Maddie they kept her or it's a million to one resemblance coincidence.
